The practice uses a computerised record system for recording patient consultations, registration and medication details and past medical history. All patient information and records are held in the strictest confidence. Access is restricted to healthcare professionals and the practice teams. All staff are bound by rules of confidentiality under the Data Protection Act 1998. Disclosure of information to third parties requires the consent of the patient. The practice is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 and has a 'Caldicott Guardian' who oversees the security of information.The Data Protection Act 1998, gives you the right to see information about you that we hold.
